FENCE understands our podcast as a means of freely distributing content from each issue of the biannual print journal. These audio-journal/podcasts will be substantial in length, including most of the works published in the journal, read aloud by our writers, human voices enfolded by diverse soundscapes. For subscribers who might read along with journal in hand, we hope to provide another means of encounter with the texts.

HERE'S HOW TO LISTEN: Roll your cursor over the podcast player to reveal the tiny symbols along the player's bottom. Click the bullet-list icon to view time-stamps of chapters within the podcasts. In the long ones, you can navigate at will by author, non-linearly.

We will also as time permits be bringing you shorter episodes: idiosyncratic FENCE content. Conversations, investigations, book excerpts, and stories--discovering and instigating collaborations through audio.
